The intro to my human geography book aka Orientalism 101

why are these africans so fucking dumb and gay? who knows :/

When I visited New York in the eastern U.S., I noticed nearly all of the skyscrapers I could see were filled with corporate executives. I also saw the urban homeless, clearly hungry, living on the street. I questioned, “Why do the wealthy in America produce absolutely nothing of value when they could be doing anything besides actively exploiting most of the world?” Through the process of answering this question, I learned a lot about the hilarious injustices of a system I live and breathe to justify.

still it’s nice that the locavore movement is getting traction even in places like kenya. it’s almost like they must just instinctively know what’s good for them. remarkable.
